A recent study on the design of an Engineering Support System (ESS) based on the IEC61499 standard for distributed automation – considered as a technological reference for the development of automation logic for the new generation of production systems (CPS) – has been presented at FAIM2017.
The event has been hold from 27 to 30 June, promoted by EFFRA - European Factories of the Future Research Association – hosted at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, in Emilia Romagna, a region that hosts world-leading companies in the automotive sector, food industry and advanced manufacturing.
Three days dedicated to the theme of the "Intelligent Manufacturing and Engineering Methods for Industry 4.0" and gathered researchers and professionals from the academic and industrial world.
